About Me

A therapist who truly listens

About Me

A therapist who truly listens

Welcome

A warm, collaborative space for healing and growth

I provide a warm, compassionate, and collaborative space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. I work with individuals who are seeking relief from distress while also pursuing personal growth, deeper self-understanding, and meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, client-centered, culturally integrative, and compassionate. Therapy with me is a space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to untangle what feels overwhelming. I provide both practical tools for symptom relief and insight-oriented approaches to help with your growth and healing process.

Years of Clinical Experience

Education & Training

Academic Background

My doctoral degree is in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oregon. I also earned degrees from Pepperdine University, and the University of California, Irvine. I completed my doctoral internship and fellowship at the University of California, Davis Counseling and Psychological Services.

Clinical Work

Diverse Clinical Settings

I have worked across a range of clinical settings, including university counseling centers, schools, and nonprofit organizations. I have also previously been deeply involved in training and mentoring doctoral interns as they prepare for their professional careers.

Perspective

A Comprehensive View of Well-Being

I use a comprehensive perspective on mental health—considering not just your current symptoms and history, but also how culture, social systems, environments, lifestyle, life experiences, and physical health shape your overall well-being.

I support clients navigating a broad spectrum of challenges. I'm attentive to how systems of oppression and marginalization shape mental health, and I welcome individuals of all identities. A significant portion of my practice includes working with BIPOC populations.
